Why “Desert Dog” Media? DDM founder John Hodge has a love of animals, especially dogs, and enjoys the scenery and
climate of the California and Arizona deserts! The sunshine never gets old! The desert offers a cleansing and healing
energy and people seem to be happier, probably due to the endless sunshine!
The desert southwest, with its marvelous climate (sunny!) is conducive to a healthy lifestyle, with plenty of outdoor
activities available. The occasional passing clouds make the desert skies home to some of the most beautiful sunsets in
the world!
John is also a former golf pro and still an avid golfer. There are over 200 fabulous golf courses in metro Phoenix,
probably having to do with the gorgeous year-round weather and 340 days of sunshine yearly!
